Brid.TV Platform Update 6.6.8. — Playback Settings Design, Prevent Ad Playback on Specific Pages & More

Platform Update 6.6.8

In our previous update, we introduced Two-Factor Authentication and Report Templates to our platform in addition to some minor improvements and bug fixes. This time around, we are bringing some significant changes including a new playback settings design and an option to prevent ad playback on specific webpages. Check out the full platform update 6.6.8. changelog below.

Playback Settings Design

To make navigation easier for users, all playback options are now located in a single cogwheel within the player. Additionally, the player now has a new feature — playback rate, that allows users to choose the speed at which the video plays back.

Prevent Ad Playback for Specific URLs

One of the biggest changes with platform update 6.6.8. is the option to prevent ad playback on specific web pages. Within the CMS, a new custom field has been added where publishers can now input a list of URLs for specific web pages on which they don’t want the video player to call on and serve ads. The URL option also supports URL wildcards. What’s more, this new feature is great for publishers that have multiple sponsored pages on their websites.
