Munich, Germany – October 21, 2024 – TargetVideo, a leading provider of video technology and monetization solutions, announced the launch of its Media for Charity initiative in partnership with some of their publishers, such as symplr togethr, Highfivve, and Skalden Media. This unique project will donate 15 million ad impressions, equivalent to a gross media value of €900,000, to three national charities, empowering them to amplify their message and reach critical audiences during Q4 of 2024.
Through this initiative, SOS-Kinderdorf e.V., Brotzeit e.V., and Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin will each receive 5 million ad impressions (gross media value of €300,000), free of charge. The campaigns will run across TargetVideo’s premium video network in the DACH region, providing a significant boost to these organizations at a time when they need public support the most.
“The Media for Charity initiative is a meaningful way for us to leverage our ad technology and strong partnerships for a greater cause,” said Maximilian Gall, Founder and CEO of TargetVideo. “While the advertising industry is often focused on growth, revenue, and competition, we need to remember how important it is to give back. By offering ad space to charitable organizations, we aim not only to raise awareness of their causes but to inspire others within our industry to follow suit. Therefore I want to express my gratitude to our partners, who made this project a reality.”
This initiative aims to cover a diverse range of charitable causes. SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is dedicated to providing safe homes and brighter futures for vulnerable children; Brotzeit e.V. is an organization supported by celebrity Uschi Glas that ensures disadvantaged school children receive a nutritious breakfast; and Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin offers vital humanitarian aid to those impacted by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
TargetVideo’s Media for Charity initiative demonstrates that the advertising industry is not solely about profit margins and business growth. The company aims to show that with the right tools, advertising can create change far beyond commercial success, offering hope and tangible support to those in need.
Uros Jojic, Co-CEO of TargetVideo added, “If this initiative proves successful, our hope is to inspire more of our partners to join us in making Media for Charity an annual tradition. By coming together as an industry, we can create lasting positive impact and continue to use the power of media for good.”
The Media for Charity initiative further reflects TargetVideo’s commitment to driving positive change and building meaningful connections between brands, publishers, and audiences. The company is proud to lead by example, ensuring that its video advertising solutions continue to serve both businesses and social good.
