In our previous release, Platform Update 6.9.8., we announced a series of small changes and minor bug fixes. This release brings some bigger updates, such as live stream schedules and an improved search bar. Check out the full Platform Update 7.0. changelog below.

New Live Stream Schedules

Creating a Live Stream Schedule in the CMS

No more last-minute scrambling to start your live stream on time. Users of the TargetVideo platform can now create multiple live-stream schedules with their own libraries, set syndication rules for scheduled streams, assign them to IAB taxonomy categories, add them to playlists, and more. Create and plan your streams in advance like a pro!

The main search bar on the platform has just had a major makeover. Powered by OpenSearch, the search function now works much faster, provides smart recommendations as you type, and can even recognize and work around typing errors.

Custom Video Properties

You can now add multiple custom key-value pairs to videos from the Video Upload and Video Edit screens. This allows you to capture specific data relevant to your business and track various attributes such as campaign performance, content categorization, or any other analytical need.

We have also added a new dimension to the analytics report called Total Videos by Custom Property, which allows you to track all custom properties on your videos.
