Force Sound Player Feature
This release includes the introduction of a new feature to the video player – force sound if possible. With this feature turned on, whenever the browser or the player environment allows it, the video player will stream content with the sound automatically turned on (on low volume, to keep the experience as user-friendly as possible). Paired with Google’s new rules on muted ad inventory, this feature will increase CPMs and fill rates for TargetVideo publishers.
You can find the force sound feature in your player template settings under expert options.
